"One night stay after a long day at the lake with my daughter. Front desk associate was beyond helpful and very courteous & polite. Room was super clean, pool room was maintained and felt great. Overall experience was 12 out of 10."

"Room was in need of repair, remote to TV had tape on back piece and didnt work. had to control TV on side of TV. hole in wall from door handle, no hair dryer, coffee was available but no creamer/sugar, etc. there were cigarette burns on blanket on bed, pillows were very flimsy. It was ok to have a place to sleep but definitely in need of remodeling, etc."

"Very clean cozy place, fit 2 adults and 2 kids perfectly. The kitchen was wel lsticked with cookware and dishes, really everything we needed. Very beautiful property and we were ecstatic to be able to use the fire pit for smores. My kids adored the playground. We will surely be returning."

"I love this little cabin. I frequent this area a couple times a year for work and this is just perfect. I will say during the cold weather it is challenging to get it warm but hey have plenty of blankets."

"This property is wonderful! My family enjoyed their stay very much over spring break. Very easy to book and access cabin upon arrival. Hiking to see the huge lake was great and adventurous. The cabin was immaculate and well-stocked with all the basics and then some in every room. We are a low maintenance family and many little details made this short stay pleasurable - games, wifi, handmade ‘take home’ coasters, walking sticks, porch, enough space for a family of four to spread out and relax....

My family only stayed one night, but my family and I enjoyed all the thoughtful details, amenities, and playing some of the games there! Sunset Cottage is immaculately clean, has many lovely decorations throughout, and seeing so many stars as we pulled up was delightful! We will definitely return next time we’re in KY! "
