"The property was well maintained and beautiful. The staff was very helpful especially the baggage person. Their Breakfast was also very good. Overall, I would give the DoubleTree a 10 out of 10."

"Tres"

"Breakfast spread was amazing."

"Great location. Parking, restaurants, grocery, cruise port, hop tour, everything. There are about 3 steps to manage to get through front door Then another 6-8 to get to elevator on first floor. If your room is on the 5th floor another 6 or 8 steps. Breakfast was simple but good, good coffee. Rooms are small, typical European. Comfortable bed, A/C. Comfortable stay."

"Great hotel in the heart of the city center. Beautiful interior, very tasty breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

"This hotel was perfect for us. Location was great. Comfy bed and clean room. The breakfast was outstanding! Staff were super friendly and helpful."

"Beautiful hotel and great staff. The view from a balcony room is worth any price."

"It was a great experience and they tried to give my all their best to have a good visit and comfortable one ... so thank you a lot "

"It is a charming old hotel that has been well maintained. The room was large and the bathroom modern. Breakfast was very good. The only issue was that the room was too warm and the only way to cool it was to keep the balcony door open."

"Staff was excellent. Great breakfast. Closest proximity to shopping, sites, and restaurants."

"Excelente ubicación, limpieza, la habitación cómoda, el personal muy amable y eficiente. Al salir de madrugada nos ayudaron con el traslado al aeropuerto a las 3:00 am y nos tenían preparados box lunch y café que nos reinició la vida 😅 Muy recomendable"

"Loved our stay, room had everything we needed, central location, and easy to walk to nearby locations."

"Loved the amount of space. Appreciated having a washing machine. Supplies were limited such as no tea towel and no drying rack."

"Great!"

"Note that on Monday’s (and Tuesday in our case) some of the shops and most of the onsite restaurants were closed so we had an inconvenient evening of trying to find a viable dining option. Otherwise, the property is beautiful and our stay was lovely."

"The hotel and grounds are beautiful but the surprise was the gorgeous beach club available to guests. 10/10"

"Fabulous location in downtown Trieste. Very close to the cruise port from where we disembarked. Beautiful old restored building with all the modern conveniences that would be expected. Staff were so very helpful with arranging taxis, storing luggage and suggesting wonderful restaurants close by. Beautiful European breakfast was an additional bonus."
