"Great location in historical area of Siracusa. Right across from water. Great bar and bfast. Would stay again. Love our sea view room"

"We had a great time, this place is absolutely worth a stay! It is remote so make sure you have a rental if you have any plans to explore the island."

"excellent"

"I enjoyed four unforgettable days exploring beautiful Ortigia -staying at the Grand Hotel Ortigia, which is a 5-star luxury hotel overlooking the harbor. It is just a short stroll to the must-see landmarks such as the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Aretusa Fountain, and the renowned Cathedral of Syracuse. it was built in 1890 and was completely renovated while preserving its classic old-world charm with marble floors, Corinthian columns, and beautiful art-filled common areas. They have an...

"This place was elegant, beautiful, and professional. We could see Greek temples from this facility. The gardens were lovely. If we had known this earlier we would have added some days to our stay. The man who checked us in was professional, friendly, and helpful all at once. I would hire him!"

"Room was okay, more like a well used holiday inn in the middle of nowhere. All amenities were closed. Pool was pretty gross. We booked a junior suite, and they gave us a standard room. We had to go back and say you gave us the wrong room. Then they said they over booked sorry. They gave us dinner one night but still pretty bad. Don't stay here if you want anything more than just an average bed."

"Super friendly staff! The location is great - just 3 min walk to the nearest beach."

"Mainly a resort for Italians. Many staff don’t speak English so you’ll need to bear that in mind. Tired resort ready for a refresh, feeling a bit shabby. The all-inclusive drinks were very short- normal amounts of cheap alcohol in a small plastic cup with little room for ice or soft drink part- strong but not pleasant. Pizza restaurant on site was off the scale terrible: mixed fried starter was going back mainly uneaten from every table - it was straight from freezer bag to deep fat fryer junk....

"The beach options are excellent but the rooms need updating. The hot tubs were not hot and the showers were very simple and old."

"It’s such a special grand old hotel. The lookout from our balcony was like a ship porthole, offering this really great view of the waterfront and property. Breakfast was top-notch. All in, a delightful stay!"

"Good location."

"Das Zimmer war gut, allerdings hatte es nicht wirklich ein Fenster. Das Fenster war eine Art Notausgang, durch das man aber nicht wirklich hinausgehen konnte. Das Bett war bequem und das Frühstück o.k., wir hatten während unserer Rundreise aber deutlich bessere Frühstücke. Die Lage ist allerdings super, in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß in Ortigia und schöne Restaurants rund herum."

"Really nice place in the heart of Ortigia. Everyone super helpful. I recommend to book online for the puppet show."
