"We had never been to Snowshoe and I do realize we were there on Sunday. When we asked about dining options the attendant did not tell us there were a few open restaurants instead of just the two connected to their property which turned out to only be pizza. She also stated breakfast at Jake’s was five minutes down the road, which she should know they are closed on every Monday."

"This is the most beautiful stay in the mountains. Was so nice to feel so far away and serene, but also be close to food and groceries at the same time. Host Rob&Caley were very welcoming and sincere. We can not wait to return in the winter!!"

"Our stay at Allegheny Springs was great. We were on the first floor so we had walkout access to the pool area. A short walk to several restaurants and shops. Fantastic mountain view."

"There was quite a bit of hair in the tub around the drain when we first checked in. It was kind of icky to see that. The room itself was nice though. I'd go back when I want to visit Snowshoe, WV or the surrounding area. The property is right in the middle of the village, which is nice. Close to restaurants and shops."

"The room stunk bad!When we walked in we walked through cobwebs in the kitchen and bathroom areas. There were live and dead bugs in the bathtub and in the kitchen.Our feet were dirty on the bottom after getting a shower and walking on the floor.The fan on a stand was so caked with dust it wouldn't move air. We cleaned it.The microwave had food splatter left in it.Whoever is cleaning your room for you is just taking your and my money.The floor should be mopped after every time it's rented.This...

"Maintenance is lacking on the entire property. The bathroom mirror had a nice saying (not family friendly) on it that showed up vividly when steamed over which happened easily since the fan was useless. "

"Absolutely the best place to rent if you want peace and quiet. The cabin itself is very very well furnished with almost anything you would need. Very comfy bed, and the view from the porch is amazing. Very very little traffic on the road, and just so quiet. Well worth the rental price. Will Absolutely go back."
