Located in north-central Thailand, Wat Pha Sorn Kaew sees a number of Thai tourists but is virtually unknown to most foreign travelers. There are two big draws here- the five sitting Buddhas, and the fantastic temple, which is covered in nearly five million mosaic tiles. Perched on an 830 meter high peak, it offers commanding views of its surroundings. The mountainous terrain and cooler climate have led many to call this area the "Little Switzerland of Thailand."

"This hotel is very modern for Petchabun and is in great condition, the place is kept clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet is very good with a good choice and verity of food on offer. If you use the restaurant you will not be disappointed the food is plentiful and service is with a smile. As always in rural Thailand English can be a bit limited. SR residence is well located but you will need your own transport to get around, watch out because the car park can get very busy at night. This...

"Absolutely horrible. From checking in to falsely advertising room. It was not what I booked for. Then shown other rooms and told we need to pay extra. Unit was old worn out and the bed was absolutely disgusting. No mattress just under lay on wood. Sore backs every morning. I would never recommend this property to anyone ever.
