"The hotel was very disappointing and does not match the photos shown on expedia. The property is old, worn out, and poorly maintained. There was no proper heating in the room. The only option was an air conditioner, which could only be set up to 22°C and automatically turned off during the night. Cold air was coming from the window, and the room was freezing. The towels were not changed during the stay. We asked at the reception in the evening, but were told there were no extra towels...

"After a long day of travel we arrived at the hotel that we pre-booked a month in advance. Albeit, we were a couple of hours before the 3pm check in time. We dropped our luggage and were told to come back around 3 (no problem!). We got back at 2:50, checked if our room was ready and were told 5-10 minutes to finish cleaning. I gave them 20 minutes to be kind, and upon arriving to the desk again they informed me it would be maybe 20, maybe 30, maybe 40 minutes to finish cleaning. Our party of 3...

"Everything was okay, apart from there being no curtain or blind in the room meaning the daylight was coming straight in distupting our sleep. Room was clean however and staff were friendly."

The breakfast in the morning was sensational. The hotel is extremely well located in the heart of the city yet very quiet in the room. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel at any time."

"Front house staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Rude at best. The room was clean enough, some disrepair (holes in walls, broken curtain rods laying on floor). Everyday the bathroom smelled like an outhouse and mouldy starting at dawn - with little bugs and flies crawling out of the drains. The hotel itself reeks of old stale cigarettes. No dresser. Telephones do not work and staff won’t make a local call for you. When the shower steam set off the fire alarm they yelled at us for it. No bathroom...

"Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen, direkt an einer kleinen Fußgängerzone mit einer Reihen schöner Restaurants. Man ist schnell in Amsterdam (Bus 35 Minuten). Zimmer sehr geräumig und sauber. Frühstück war gut und ausreichend."
