Sarah contacted us, was up front with the potential issue, had already contacted a contractor, and had already looked to see if alternative accommodation was available to us. "The place we rented is called a barn, but it is more like a house. Everything is on the second floor and it more than met our expectations, the finish work and decorations are immaculate and the view is outstanding looking across the valley at the mountain to the east. there are at least seven deer on the property that we got to see a couple different times. If you want solitude, this is a good place to go."

We absolutely loved the setting with frequent wildlife sightings and great spaces to relax and enjoy the mountain views. The host was attentive and checked in often to give inspiration for restaurants and activities nearby. Berkeley Springs is close enough to enjoy the town but far enough away to give you a true feeling of peace out in the woods. We loved our stay and are thankful to have found this little gem!"
