"So much fun staying in a Watermelon house! Huge space, comfortable beds and such amazing views to Fuji San from the rooftop deck of hotel, town was great and had everything required and all walkable from Haostay. Super quiet location. Did not partake in breakfast as had to leave early, looked and smelt amazing though."

"The hotel was good - great breakfast. They had a free shuttle into town / the bus station. Our biggest issue was getting a room for 3 people meant a traditional Japanese style room, so we were sleeping on mats on the floor and it was terrible. Not the hotel’s fault, my own for not paying better attention. Thankfully we were only there for 2 nights - our backs would not be able to handle much more. Otherwise everything else was good."

"Very lovely place. Our room had a view of Mt Fuji (when it wasn't cloudy). It was 100% a traditional Japanese Inn, which we liked. They prepared breakfast and dinner, every day. There was a lot of traditional local Japanese food (which I mostly liked despite my western pallet). The staff were incredibly kind! Overall, an amazing experience!"

"Stayed as part of our Japan honeymoon, and it blew our minds. We arrived on a cloudy day but when we woke the next morning to clear skies the view of Mt Fuji from our balcony was simply incredible! We thought the buffet breakfast was excellent, the staff are wonderful, can’t wait to return in the future!"
