We loved standing out on the patio watching the boats go in and out of the lake and listening to the birds in the trees to the south of the hotel. "We enjoyed the area — beautiful lake, gorgeous sunsets. The townhome was clean, open, spacious, and stocked with plenty of supplies and towels. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. On the downside, there is no pool and no restaurant on-site. The beach area is very small, not a real sand beach, and not suitable for kids to swim. The playground is also very small. Activities are limited if you’re not golfing or boating."

"Staff was unbothered , seemed annoyed we were there . Rooms were dirty , bedding was unwashed . Tub was moldy , towel rack was broken off . People were drinking right outside of our window , we asked to be moved we had just gotten there , and they refused . I would absolutely not stay there again . We were traveling and decided to stay last minute , would not recommend."

There wasn’t any firewood for the wood burning fireplace which would have been nice for Christmas Eve, if we needed to get our own, it would’ve been good to know that?! There were not any exit rules as to bedding, garbage, etc!!!!!!! Otherwise no complaints!"

"This place is rustic, but has potential. No communication from host as to how to get in. I tried emailing the host via VRBO, calling, and texting. After texting I got the code to get in and the wifi. You have to have your own water to drink and cook with. It is well water without a filter for getting useable water. "We were looking to experience tiny home living with our kids and found Jesse's barn on VRBO. The location was perfect, not too far from home but far enough away from the city lights. Jesse was the perfect host and even helped us jump start our car due to a bad battery at the end of our stay. Our favorite part of the stay was swimming in the pool surrounded by chickens and goats.
