"Great location on the edge of downtown Melk so out of heavy traffic. Staff always ready to help. Breakfast was fresh and enough to kickoff the day. Room as expected and due to high temperatures (>95°F), they had a cooling fan as well explained how to use the awnings to aid in cooling. Can't acknowledge that the staff was superb and attentive. Worth a visit"

"This hotel is clean and cozy and perfectly situated to visit old town in Melk, including the abbey. So fun to step out the door onto a charming street full of cafes and shops. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the free breakfast buffet is absolutely fantastic! I appreciate that the windows in the rooms open fully and also the fun little jars of candy at the checkout desk and restaurant for guests to sample. Tasty!"

"A very nice little hotel. We arrived late after the reception was closed and they left us instructions on how to get our room keys. The rooms are new and beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. We ate outside by the river, which was nice. Parking right on site and plenty of spots. Overall, we had a very good night at the hotel."

"If you’re planning to visit Melk Abbey, be aware that Hotel Donauhof is not within walking distance—you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs about €16 each way. Alternatively, there's a bus that runs only once per hour. The hotel provides no in-room amenities—not even, tea or bottled water—and there is no air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable in the warmer months after June. "الفندق رائع جداً حيث المبنى يريد عمره عن اربعمائة سنة ولكن من الداخل تم تجديده واضافة الديكورات المميزه، التسجيل والخروج كان سريع والموظفين ودوديين، الافطار كان بسيط ولذيذ، اما الغرف فلاول مرة اقيم في فندق به هذه المساحة الشاسعة، كانت الغرفة رائعة جداً والمفارش مريحة، استمتعنا بكل جزء في الفندق يصلح للافراد والعائلة مع اطفال، ولكن للامانه الفندق بعيد عن مركز المدينة والمشوار الواحد للاجرة يكلف ١٥€ ذهاباً ومثلها اياباً."

"Nice apartment on oldest street in Melk. Easy to follow instructions for entry. Clean and convenient. Window opened onto Main Street. Loved the town of Melk and would definitely stay in this apartment again. Modern and equipped kitchen for prep of simple meals. Easy walk to train station and bus stop."
