"Views from this property are stunning. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. They were a real pleasure. My room was clean and roomy. The property was conveniently located a two minute walk from nine arches Bridge and an excellent restaurant. The breakfast provided at the hotel was tasty and provided an abundant amount of food."

"Wow! Where to start with Nine Skies - we had the most exceptional stay during our honeymoon. The property is so gorgeous and all the grounds are so well maintained. "It’s a real shame to feel a need to leave a negative review as this. I can honestly say that this is the first negative review we have ever left for a hotel so it is not something that we find joy in doing. We travel to similar calibre hotels every month and I can honestly say this was the worst we have ever been to and we wouldn’t recommend spending your money going here. The rooms are not sound proof at all, the shower water was cold for 2 days. We had a room on the second floor and the neighbours in the room next to us were screaming for hours (including their baby). The parents were arguing and the children were very loud too. We could also hear their tv. While we completely appreciate that babies cry, we wouldn’t expect to hear them as if they were in our room. We called reception to kindly ask if they could speak to next door. They said they did and that they would call us back shortly. They never called back. We contacted them again and they said they would investigate, again, we heard nothing back when they said they would return our call. We then went to dinner and spoke to somebody at the reception and they said to us that the neighbours balcony door was open and they asked them to close it. The next morning at 5am, it all started again. We gave it some time but then had to call reception as it was so loud. They apologised and said they would ask the manager to come and see us. The manager never came. for 1000USD a night the food is not up to standard. "

"Amazing hotel! Located off the beaten track this was a great experience for the family. The pool is excellent, food good quality and the tours were well organised with small numbers. This is not a touristy area so a more exclusive feel that other locations in Sri Lanka."

"The only hotel in the world to cable car me in. And maybe my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. Very relaxing as no internet in rooms and I read and listened to waterfall. Heaps of room to do yoga."
