"As a motorcycle traveler it is appreciated to be allowed to park under the roof at the entrance especially during the rainstorm."

"The hospitality was top notch, the property just added to it thru and thru!! I will definitely be back, and I recommend it 100%. The town of Marshall will take u back to a Norman Rockwell painting of a forgotten time in America that will be remembered as soon as u are transported there! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!!"

"Friendly and a great breakfast"

"I loved my stay at the jail. It is so beautifully done and just a really cool place! Love the history here and artifacts as well! It’s one of my favorite places to stay in western NC!"

"Marie is absolutely amazing and it was such a pleasure to stay at this cabin. My boyfriend and I went hiking and explored Downtown Asheville, and didn’t find it difficult to get around. We enjoyed the grill and spending some time on the porch, and we even got a visit from Marie’s goats a couple of times! I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone wanting to get some fresh air and explore the Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge."

"The place was cute and exactly as described. When we arrived, it was horribly musty smelling. We had to open all the doors and windows and turn on the fans. There were gnats in the kitchen area and the bathroom, dust bunnies in multiple places, and a missing smoke detector. The yard had not been mowed recently and was unpleasant to walk through to the creek. There was a fire pit with yard chairs stacked on top. No firewood in sight. At the total price of $241 for one night, we were disappointed."

"This place is wonderful! It’s remote enough to be far from the public but it is also close to go into town and enjoy some incredible food from the local restaurants. There are trails close to the home if you’re into hiking. The host was so kind to set fire and set up logs as seating areas for us. The biggest attraction was the camels! We were able to meet and feed the camels thanks to the host’s hospitality! We were able to try some of the camel milk soap which is some of the best soap I’ve...

"This is quaint, this is great is you want environment. The new owners are super great and friendly. Know this, it's just a room, no t.v. no refrigerator. It's quiet, don't plan to make any noise after 11. The bathroom had problems, the shower leaked, the toilet was dirty, they have good hot water. It's basically a room in a boarding house,"

". Clean rooms . Host was excellent . Fire place, weren’t use; because it was summer time; but the instructions were very clear .”Down town were walking distances , and very near And close by all the animals pet and services animals, were very welcome “"

"Great stay"

"Great location. Close to the Spa and the town. Only downside was the bed. My wife ended up sleeping in the recliner after the first night due to her back and hip hurting."

"We enjoyed the hot tub. It had a nice homey feel. Views of the mountains from the front porch were nice but you are on the main road going out of town and there was lots of traffic including big trucks. Not as peaceful as I expected. The cabin is close to the AT but not directly on it. Sunny dining room. It’s a very old house and had a musty smell. There also was a small adjacent garage apartment beside the hot tub with a man living there. The driveway was shared with the apartment."

"I had no real problem with the property and what it had for me. The loft area for sleeping is not made for tall people like myself, so it could get a little tight changing clothes, etc. Not a big deal. Where I have issue is the long-term residents below my space. We are asked to be considerate about noise after 10:00 pm. While I have not problem doing that, I would expect the same in return. They were noisy at various times during the day and night. Doors slamming and arguments happening...

"Rebecca's place was amazing! We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend, and it was incredibly convenient to get everywhere in Asheville. The house is an excellent blend of modern amenities and over 100 years of nostalgia and history. Highly recommended! "

"Right downtown and easy to get around area."

"Nice and clean property with a beautiful Mountain View. We have really enjoyed staying at this home. June is very sweet, easy to work with, property was ready to be checked in when we have arrived to get ready for a wedding. We highly would definitely stay again."

"Very good value and close to town."
