"Outstanding hotel, and if you catch the right offers, very well priced. Loved the theatrical corridors, with piped ship hum. Because it’s an old 18th century warehouse the corridors & rooms are grand & cavernous. Definitely stay again. Maybe not quite near the Royal Albert Dock area to walk to but an Uber is quick and cheap. Right across the road from the new Everton Stadium."

"Room was fine,lovely view, Daniel on reception was so jolly and welcoming ,great start to stay, paid to add breakfast on arrival, slight disappointment, buffet wasn't on when we arrived in restaurant, taking orders for each table,which in turn became a long wait,it came incorrect with overcooked poached eggs ,had to request another, as we left restaurant the buffet had been put back on, personally I'd rather chose what I want on my plate, best part was sausages,didn't really eat the rest so...

"The staff super friendly. Room was NOT A KING as described on Expedia. Told by front desk that is a UK king… which essentially was almost a queen. After objecting, they found us a room with two twins put together. As well as for our second room but that was a “accessible” room so not a totally acceptable change. The location is close to train station but also in a gritty part of town. One morning at 7:00 am there was trash all over the pedestrian street. Our room was quiet, air conditioning...

"The car park need to be tarmacked. The room decor was bland, wall paper grubby and no complimentary bottle of water to drink. I entered the Hotel bar last night and the bathroom was filthy The breakfast experience was poor - very poor range of fruit and cereals and poor quality coffee with background music that was too loud. On check out I was asked that full address be placed on my invoice which I need to claim for work purposes and was told this was not possible. I wont be back."

"I knew the hotel was old and would be dated which I was fine with, reminded me of the shining which I actually liked but the room itself I wasn’t impressed at all with. "AVOID this hotel!!!! Just back from a 3 day stay at this hotel, although receptionists was friendly on arrival , I definitely won’t stay again bathroom in bedroom was newly refurbished and spotless though small, and sink was tiny no where to hang towels and no soap or toiletries provide when asked was told they would get us some soap still waiting , as I walked away I heard receptionist say to woman and child Standing why does she need soap , child replied to wash hands after being...

"Its a beautiful place and the staff was amazing, friendly and very willing to help, room was clean and the breakfast gave different many breakfast choices to choose from. Great initiative from staff despite the high temperature they ensured there was always ice cubes available for the rooms and offered free ice cream during the day. Very close proximity to the sea, town and other places of interest."

"This hotel was very excellent overall. I truly loved the pool and all the extras that come with it. The gym is honestly superior to all I've seen. The beds were very very comfy. The breakfast, dinner, Pub & Grill were also very tastefull and well worth the price. There is also plentyyy of parking space available. You also have a zoo which is very close by which is great for a lovely day out. 10/10!"
