"This resort really surprised me. It has an optimal quality-price ratio. The athmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. The beach is really nice and all amenities. It's really clean and well mantained. Water to shower is not salty so you can have a proper shower, not like as many other resorts and hotels in watamu that have salty water. "A beautiful places with superb service and a few minuses. Large and nice reception area with a great view of the garden and swimming pool. Got a nice room with an ok bathroom and good aircon, but the bed was really hard and no TV. The power went out a few times during our stay, but it wasn't a big deal. "Kobe Suite is a nice smaller hotel, with two great pools. Limited lounge chairs around the pool area. Restaurant on site for lunch and supper was okay, one night I found a live bug in the olive they acted quickly to resolve the issue. Breakfast buffet is nice. Overall we would stay again if needed "

"This is not 5 star property , and is not priced like one. There is no swimmable maintained beach around, ocean water is dirty. Food is ok but nothing special. Rooms are clean, watched out for lizards. Pools are busy, ants are everywhere around "

"The staff was so helpful to us especially when my husband got sick. The hotel manager got us a driver to take us to a nearby clinic. Without that help he would not have recovered fast enough to make our flight. The staff was so concerned and let us stay in our room past our checkout time without charging us for an extra day. We are so grateful to them for taking such good care of us. We will never forget them or what they did for us. This kind of care and service is priceless."
