"This was paradise. My first time in Kenya and Africa in general and this was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, immaculate. The food was so wonderful. The best part are the staff who were very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my time here and would not mind coming back. Thank you for a wonderful time! Till we meet again"

"Rooms were kept cleaned daily. Staff are friendly helpful & polite. Laundry service available. Breakfast had plenty of options. Dawa (kenya tea is a must try) Beautiful surroundings. Convenience of the mall Lots to do onsite . I intend to stay here again. We were welcomed & well looked after by the staff. I highly recommend this hotel."

"I visited Southern Palms Beach Resort for 2 nights with my wife after a 5-day safari. It took only 10-15 minutes from Ukunda (Diani) Airport. I saw a Carrefour on the way to the hotel. "An excellent 5-star experience! The hotel is beautiful, modern, and well maintained, with very friendly and welcoming staff. The location is fantastic, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Nairobi. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Nairobi and would happily stay here again."

"Staffing was not good at all. No help from Staffing no greeting."

The staff were able to upgrade our room after sharing we were on our honeymoon which was very kind of them. Highly recommend Gem Forest, I would definitely go back."

"The lush greenery around the property is appealing. However, there was confusion over the reservation, which took a while to sort out. Gaining access to the room, we discovered there were no towels. It took us three calls to reception and an hour and a half wait before receiving the towels."

"I have stayed at the Serena several times over the past 20 years. In fact, of the 80 countries I have visited the Serena in Mombasa is still my favorite place in the world. The staff, including front dest staff (namely, Althuman) and the wait staff are outstanding. Many are long-term staff who have obviously been well-trained in customer service. The Maisha Spa is always worth a visit. The property is beginning to show signs of aging so I hope there are plans to upgrade it, while not loosing its...
