"Perfect for a one night stay, clean and comfortable"

"Suitable for children"

"Staff was very professional and helpful."

"Restaurant has very limited options. Everything else is fantastic. Clean. Quiet. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Lovely pool. Do not care for the smoking that is permitted near the pool. Seems to be common in Kenya."

"This is the best hotel in all of Kenya. And that’s not an understatement and yes, I’ve been to hotels all over Kenya for the last 11 years. Maybe there is a hotel that is drastically nicer and more luxurious up in the Masai Mara like the other JW Marriott in that location that’s $5000 a night or the Ritz Carlton in that area for $5000 a night but for 150-600 USD a night in Nairobi there is nothing better. "Nice staffs"

"I have stayed at the Serena several times over the past 20 years. In fact, of the 80 countries I have visited the Serena in Mombasa is still my favorite place in the world. The staff, including front dest staff (namely, Althuman) and the wait staff are outstanding. Many are long-term staff who have obviously been well-trained in customer service. The Maisha Spa is always worth a visit. The property is beginning to show signs of aging so I hope there are plans to upgrade it, while not loosing its...

"I waited one day for the rooftop bar and no one never assisted me. So, I left."

"The lush greenery around the property is appealing. However, there was confusion over the reservation, which took a while to sort out. Gaining access to the room, we discovered there were no towels. It took us three calls to reception and an hour and a half wait before receiving the towels."

"Just checked out after an incredible stay at The Sands at Nomad. Staying right on the property for my dives is a dream—the rooms are beautiful, and going straight from your room to an amazing dive is ultimate convenience. The restaurant has the perfect laid-back beach vibe, serving incredibly fresh seafood and great drinks right on the sand. Excellent service “@Juma” and the absolute best beachfront spot in Diani. Will definitely be back."
