"Stunning spot overlooking a lake where elephants have been every morning and evening of our stay (can’t see them that well in the evening!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food they prepare , whether breakfast, or if you ask lunch or dinner, is extremely tasty and plentiful. We cancelled our plans and stayed an extra night it was that good. Cannot recommend enough."

"We accidentally found this fabulous hotel due to sudden change of our vacation plan. Hotel is located in very calm quiet area within 10 km from Sigiriya local ticketing office. We had an unexpectedly wonderful time in the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and supportive. Hotel has two well maintained pools and beautiful restaurant. "We were extremely happy with our 3 nights stay at Gabaa. Staff were superb. All the cabins were hidden amongst the nature, making it must more relaxing and enjoyable. Property was very quiet and had plenty of privacy. Hiruni and Eranda and also everyone else were always available and made our stay memorable. My kids didn’t want to leave the property. Rooms very spacious and AC was worked perfectly. We got some tea and food and they were authentic."

"The property was absolutely beautiful and well kept. The staff were amazing and the meals were delicious. Highly recommend!"

"Wonderful hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms, ours also had a balcony. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, there are Sri Lankan and Western options, all very tasty. The pool is delightful, the views from the cafe are great."

"as amazing as siguriya itself is, and it is, the staff at king's resort were the highlight. nothing was too much trouble, true professional hospitality, it was great. we were there for our 20th wedding anniversary and they made it special. sri lanka is amazing. truely. did i mention the plunge pool? you'll prob want to get that. the big pool is brilliant but the plunge pool, for us, was really special"

"A very beautiful property tucked inside a jungle. We had a wonderful stay in a tree house and loved waking up with the birds chirping in the trees. Staff was very helpful throughout our entire stay. The lion rock is only 15 mins away."

"Our hosts were welcoming and delightful. The hospitality made our visit of Sigiriya most memorable. The rooms were clean and the food was fresh and delicious. With ease of access to the restaurants, and of course Lion's Rock, we took in the sunrise from a most impressive ancient civilization! Highly recommended."
