"Our rooms were lovely. The front desk staff person got us checked in quick which was nice because we were all exhausted from our drive. He answered any questions we had and gave us good direction. The breakfast was great and the attendent was super friendly and helpful! Lots of options and plenty of coffee!"

"Nothing special"

"Close enough to grinnell college. The fridge was making a lot of noise had tv issue . Staff fixed the issue. No phones in the room to call front desk. Breakfast room was small so since a lot of people staying it was crowded . For the price I paid it is what it is. If you are disabled make sure u don’t get a room in second floor . Because no elevator at this location"

"Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Room clean."

"The property was quiet, clean and convenient. Staff was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Will stay again for sure. Thank you."

"If I could rate this place a zero I would. Absolutely horrible experience at this horrible hotel and I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else. We found actual bed bugs in our room and have pictures to prove it. This was not a suspicion or misunderstanding; there were bed bugs in the room, and the room itself was dirty and poorly maintained. We were there for less than 5 hours before we had to leave because we were not going to risk staying in a room with bed bugs. What makes this even...

"Quiet, efficient"

"The staff was friendly but the property needs a lot of updates."

"A unique property — a boutique hotel converted from a 1921 junior high school. Large spacious rooms with 15 foot vaulted ceilings. Staff are very friendly and attentive, and non-intrusive. It's central, just a couple of blocks away from Broad street and Main street. There's free self parking on the street outside the hotel, and it's a 12 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride to Grinnell College (there are free-to-borrow bikes available in the hotel). Best hotel in and around Grinnell by a...

"Quiet location that suited our needs. Clean facility, plenty of amenities."

"Beautiful property, Close to Newton Iowa."

"The best place to say in Newton. Comfortable and roomy apartment, easy parking, and walking access to downtown. The bed is comfortable and it has a decent shower."

"Terrible experience all around."

"Great amenities and very nice home."
