"A surprisingly well equipped and well conceived property in the south-western region of Uganda. It's very quiet, very well-designed and my wife says it is of European quality - which is a compliment! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very spacious. The facilities including gym are way better than in most Ugandan properties. It is a little overpriced and the food is unremarkable BUT if I had to stay near Mbarara and I could get the rate down by 30% this would definitely be my preferred...

"At check-in, there was no salutation. I was never asked for ID or who I was. They led me straight to my room. This raises serious security concerns.
The pipework under the sink was non-existent. So I had to deploy a bucket to collect waste water and avoid spillage in the room.
Unlike any other hotels I have stayed in Uganda, there were no bedside tables, no bedside table lamps, no coffee kettle. There was very little natural light in the room. The windows are designed to remain permanently...

1) room lighting very poor. Need to add lamps
2) Hot. Add a fan
3) The mosquito net was wobbly, not well secured
We stayed one night. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. "

"Central location and helpfully staff. When we ask about exchanging currency, the manager herself went out of her way to accompany us 5 block to the bank. The hotel even called us one morning because we almost missed breakfast."
