"Perfect location close to the water and walkable to the main shopping area and restaurants within 5 minutes on the flat (which was ideal in the ice/snow as the hills looked slippery) The hotel has been beautifully decorated, the included breakfast was great and the basic double room was plenty big enough. Will be recommending to anyone I know if they travel to Akureyri. "

"Staff was very friendly and gave a tour upon arrival. Property and setting were beautiful. Hot tub at the end of day looking over the fjord was amazing. Breakfast was the best we had by far in Iceland. "

"What an absolutely beautiful cabin with absolutely everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was a lovely touch and watching the stars with a glass of wine just brilliant. Fabulous in everyway."

"The shared facilities were the best for camping. The pods we slept in felt great although we flipped the mattress, the space the had many outlets, ample heat and insulated walls. Surrounding the area with cool walking paths to a lake and the waterfall by the restaurant was amazing! It's a dark zone to see the sky perfectly at night! "

"Im großem und ganzen ok, nichts besonderes, ausreichend zum Schlafen und essen. Küche ist sehr spartanisch ausgestattet udn Leitungswasser stinkt sehr nach Schwefel. Betten seeehr weich, wers mag ist ok, ich selber mag das nicht aber man kann damit leben."
