"Older building but with visible renovations. Very quiet with friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean. I didn’t consume any breakfast here as it was a continental breakfast and I prefer a fuller meal. Breakfast area/lobby also tidy. I always stay here when I’m in Hillsdale and will continue to do so."

"Room was disgusting, had what looked like dried food an semen on bedding. No towels in room. Front office refused a refund after arguing about the cleanliness of room. Took an hour to get bedding changed after arguing with them. Would not recommend."

"We stayed for the night for our 11th wedding anniversary. Holly is an amazing host, as soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of Cowboy town along with how it came to be. Then shown our cabin which was so beautiful. It was quiet and private, there was a wedding the next day and even the preparation for that did not interfere with our stay. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice private escape. Thank you Holly"

"If you want to camp and have a camping experience, then this is the perfect spot! Lots of animals to see between the owner's horses and cats. The kitchen and bathroom are both shared spaces, not with the owners, but with the multiple other cabins on the property. So you are not super secluded from other people. We went in October, and the outdoor shower did not have hot water, so it was a rather cold shower. Holly, the owner, did say that they are going to replace the water heater soon, but...

"Hotels are in short supply in Hillsdale, and for just a few dollars more we got a WHOLE HOUSE! This cottage was cozy and the decor was charming. I hope we can stay here again!"

"I have debated weather or not to say anything I didn't read reviews before I booked. Only after to see if anyone else mentioned the cleanliness of the cabin. And there are the reviews with the same opinion as me. At the least it needs a deep clean. Things like, the silverware holder in the drawer was full of crumbs and ick. "Kitchen is nice and very well lit, although there is only seating for four (and no dining room). One other minor thing: one light fixture hangs fairly low, so anyone taller than 6 feet needs to watch out."
