Everything was spectacular

We had a great stay at Snowhotel Kirkenes. We were well received despite being the only guests in the snow hotel. It was clean, plenty of things to do for a family and the service level was great. We especially recommend the King Crab Fishing activity which was very memorable. They also have reindeers and husky dogs on site and offer many different activities in the area.

The lodge is next to the river, it was frozen over w\ snow, perfect for watching the dog sledders come by. All four nights there, we saw the Northern LIghts. The room, lodge, food, ice hotel and adventures were awesome

Incredible view of Alta from the 6th floor. Clean & quiet. Heated floors in bathroom. Very helpful staff! Superior breakfast! Conditions were icy, so wonderful that Peppe's Pizza was next door (delicious), and the 3-story mall could be accessed without going outside. Breakfast would have cost at least $40 each in a nice American hotel. Walking distance to Northern Lights Cathedral and top restaurants in area. Wise decision to stay here!

This was the best place I stayed during my entire trip in Norway. Excellent all around.

It’s a lovely cozy and warm hotel with spotless clean room, extremely helpful staff. Availability of coffee throughout the day was bonus. The breakfast was good, and the easy parking. Cute lovely room for a solo was perfect. Definitely stay there again.

I love this place! The room was exactly what I needed. Small but comfortable. Breakfast buffet was beautiful. Not only was a tasty, it was aesthetically pleasing. The sheets were scratchy. I think either they weren’t rinsed enough or they need to be replaced. But it’s such a tiny thing and this is such a great place.

WONDERFUL - the hotel was perfect for our needs and wants as it is but when you add the amazing kind staff and their welcome smiles and open hearts your hotel becomes more like home sweet home! Our special thanks to Magdalena and Victoria for that! Dinner - the two chefs prepared a fresh dinner that satisfied our hunger well! We really enjoyed our visit there and will miss our “new friends!”

Excellent location right in Alta center (which is very small), best buffet breakfast at a very reasonable price in all 3 weeks of my Norway travel, front desk staff very helpful/polite/professional, clean and comfortable room with spacious bathroom(shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, towel racks. Only 2 downsides: 1) need expanded dinner menu 2) cost 250 NOK one way from airport and bus schedule is unreliable. The bus does stop about 4 minute walk away in big parking lots across the street from...

The hotel is in a nice area with easy access to trails. Rooms were nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is amazing with great facilities and an incredible location. The staff is really good, very helpful and friendly. The entire surrounding area is peaceful with lots of hiking trails within walking and a short driving distance. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.
