"Ray at the front desk was AMAZING!!! When I arrived, I wasn’t expecting it to be so run down. I nearly almost cancelled until I went in and met Ray. He is so kind, very knowledgeable and assured me I would be safe! The room was clean but super outdated. It’s not in the best area. There were random people just hanging out in the parking lot which had made me a little hesitant since this was a solo trip but it ended up being a great stay! "Nice basic motel. I wish I paid more for an ocean view as maybe the road noise wouldn’t have been so bad. They gave ear plugs. Room was basic-clean,towels, toiletries, hairdryer, small refrigerator, coffee maker and fan. But it was cold in the room as the fan was only air. No heat. The front desk had a nice place to make hot drinks, get cold ones and snacks complimentary. Very dog friendly all around. Other visitors welcomed us."

"The hotel is replacing the outside siding, according to them, Monday - Thursday. How terrible would this be if you are in one of the rooms this construction is going on! Staff seems unhappy, not sure I saw anybody smile over the 2 days I stayed there. I watched a lady with really long hair who I believe is a manager or supervisor belittle the breakfast host in front of guests. On a positive note, the room was very clean."

Our room was a king room with an ocean view, the ocean view is looking out over the parking lot and across Highway 101, but still in Ocean view it was clean and very spacious. We only stayed one night, but definitely would stay again."

"Property remote, like it. The outside of the cabin needs to be kept up as in the photo on the website, needs work done, a lot. Couldn't use the hot tub, we didn't have access to all of the cabin, only going up the stairs to iur room. It is self check in. Didn't see anyone there at all until midnight when a couple arrived.
