"We didn't spend a lot of time on the resort (mostly at beaches around the island), but it was a great resort. It was nice to come back after a long beach day and relax in the pool before changing and catching a taxi to dinner. The taxis hangout on property, making it easy to catch a ride into town for dinner (Morgan's Mango and The Banana Deck were our favorites)."

"The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The room was first class. It was clean, had great amenities, and the view was beyond words. It could not be more convenient to everything in Cruz Bay. The staff was 5 star by any standard. The only bad thing was that I had to leave and go back to work the next day."

"Gallows Point was in a great location to Cruz Bay. There was transportation from the resort to and from the ferry and the concierge - Ojhany - was the best. He was incredibly helpful and so kind! The rooms were spacious and had a full kitchen (no oven). We had everything we needed! The only thing to know is that there isnt beach access form the resort. I highly recommend renting a car from the resort and traveling to beaches all over the island."

"I liked everything about the place. It was exactly as I hoped it would be. Very laid back, just like the entire island. 2mins from the center of town - shops, restaurants, bars, beach, everything. Owners & staff fantastic. It was off-season slow, which is when I usually travel. If you want to kick back in a quiet, friendly place, St. J is the place to do it, and the Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel is the place to stay. 5+ stars!"

The Hills location is far enough off the beaten path that there was not much noise or vehicle traffic in our area, yet close enough to be very convenient to get into Cruz Bay via a quick taxi ride of about five minutes. "Absolutely perfect location for our stay on St John this week! House was clean, AC was cool and kitchen had all amenities for prepping meals to take on a day adventure or stay in and cook. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to be close to Cruz Bay with easy access to main roads leading around the island, but away from the crowds. "

"This is very nice, recently renovated 8 unit property. They are located on the top floor so 2 1/2 flights of stairs are required to get there. (Plus a walk up a hill from the ferry) It was a very nice surprise on how pretty the unit was and all the amenities available. The grocery store is right next door so grabbing some (very pricey) needed items was helpful. It’s a very short walk to everything in Cruz Bay.
