"Loved pulling up to the castle and seeing the dogs roaming the grounds, sad to have only spent one night"

"What an amazing stay at Carton House! Could not fault anything. We will be back next year."

"Beautiful on all accounts only issue coffee machine didn’t work"

"We have enjoyed our stay at the Newgrange Hotel. Our room was nice and clean with comfortable beds. We had somewhere to sit in the room and there was a selection tea/coffee available with the coffee machine and a kettle. We did have a problem with the shower, which kept going cold but we managed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice, nicely cooked and you could have just what you wanted. The meals in the pub were nice with a good choice on the...

"The staff are amazing, so helpful above and beyond. Accommodate any request , have traveled many places this was truly the best staff ever. Including the breakfast staff wonderful people. Went from Canada for a wedding, made our experience wonderful. Thanks Castle Arch!"

"Beautiful hotel right next to the castle. Very helpful staff, nice rooms, easy parking and check-in"

"Booked for a quick trip over to Ireland to visit a relative who lives nearby so the hotel was well located for what we were looking for. The hotel is set in landscaped grounds and is impressive when you drive in. Reception is nice and the staff most helpful. The rooms are large (executive twin) with a large single beds and sizeable bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower. Robes and slippers are a nice touch. The fixtures are a little dated but worked fine, furniture is quite badly scuffed...

"Interesting property. I stayed in one of the wings of the main house on the 1st floor. The room was fine (the artwork in the wings and bedrooms was very incongruent to the grandeur of the main house…), pillows were really thin, and they felt a bit dated but comfortable. The windows were really small. The main section of the house/public spaces were beautiful. One thing I found odd were the number of influencers there making content, perhaps for the new spa?"

"Overall, it is a nice hotel but we had some challenges with the amenities. It offered A/C which was a rare treat, but it only worked in one of the two rooms. We were excited to see ice machines, but couldn’t find one that worked. The tvs only got 7 channels and we had to call the office to get the room next to us to quiet down after being repeatedly woken up. The food and and drink at the restaurant were good and the place was clean and people friendly, but we were disappointed."

"Really nice hotel!!"

"Clean room and easy communication."

"Great parking, great room, great restaurant. We enjoyed our time there."

"Excellent place with very helpful staff and great rooms"

"That’s a very cute little place, no directions at all on how to turn on different things like the TV or the stove or any of the Kitchen things that would’ve been nice to have but eventually figured it out. It was clean, quiet and a cute little place in the country."

"The food in the bar area was excellent and good value. The only small niggle was there wasn’t a desk lamp in the room."

"Facility was nice and staff was great. The rooms did not have air conditioning, which was uncomfortable during the warm weather."

"Nothing to add"
