"Great location and amazing gym facility"

"Incredible stay at an authentic castle. Wish we had stayed more than one night. The staff and service was very personal and next level. We loved walking through the castle exploring different spaces. Did a hawk walk and morning walk on the property grounds with blood hounds – both amazing experiences! Definitely worth the splurge."

"Perfect location to enjoy Galway"

"Shops very nearby. Great!"

"Eccentric decorating and totally fun. Lovely hotel, well maintained with a few options for catching a drink. One room had fabric on the walls. Lovely! Staff was very helpful. Free parking is around the corner with an elevator that brings you right to the lobby. That was helpful."

"Very good."

"Although we had a car rental, we appreciated being able to use public transportation. There are buses regularly available in front of the hotel for easy access to the center of Galway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed. We appreciated the coffee machine in our room which was replenished daily. Instructions for how to use the coffee machine were provided. Daily room service was provided without having to ask for it. We were unable to figure out how to use the...

"Excellent,as usual."

"My second stay at this hotel. Near the square and close to the bus station. Great place to stay. My only complaint is the restaurant closed early both nights we were there so we had to find alternative places to eat."

"Perfect place to stay in Galway"

"False advertisement- they are saying that there’s a restaurant and bistro at the property, the restaurant is closed or open only for the tours. If you book with Expedia the restaurant it’s closed. We ate reheated chicken wings on the first day in the Bistro. The rooms are outdated, the room doors are noisy when they close down ( it’s an automatic system). The pool is ok but there’s no lifeguard. The breakfast was good but the selection is poor."

"Beautiful place. Very welcoming, about half hour walk to downtown. I recommend"

"The location is the best attribute as a short walk from the bus station, around the corner from Eyre Square and a short walk from the tourist streets. This is a hostel not a hotel so buyer beware, college student noise to be expected. The room was adequate although the shower did spill out into the bathroom floor and there were no anti-slip pads in place. I did take advantage of the afternoon tea time to get away from my group and read a book."

"Neat place! I wish we’d been able to stay longer. Next trip, we’ll make this a multiple night stay. Restaurant was good."
