"Wonderful, wonderful hotel and a true life experience. Only negative was the "Dungeon" restaurant - rather faux in terms of trying to be something historical... Overall, we loved our stay!"

"A very comfortable stay and excellent location to access Eyre Square and surrounding area."

"I would recommend this hotel. Light, clean, modern. Nothing not to like."

"Location"

"The hotel was clean and well positioned geographically, but the in room amenities are sparse. The stay started off badly when we were placed in a room just off the lobby. We were kept awake by revellers in the lobby (not a very sound proof hotel) until 4AM when we went to the front desk and had the overnight staff send the partying patrons back to their rooms. Subsequently the toilet malfunctioned (faulty flush mechanism) and the drain cover in the middle of the shower stall was loose, posing a...

"The room was comfortable. A/C worked properly. The bathroom does not have a shower but a high step in bathtub with no grab bar where to hold on to get inside or out. The glass door on the bathtub moves so cannot be used to hold on. Not safe for older people. The bathroom always has a peculiar smell. Parking was good under building. Overall a good place to stay. Staff very nice and helpful and breakfast was good but same hot items every day."

"Nice clean room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was buffet style and very average. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"Great experience"

"We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the location was unbeatable! The walks to each spot for coffee, food, shipping, etc. were so quick and easy."

"A Well kept property and a beautiful location. Very clean, and courteous staff."

"The location is the best attribute as a short walk from the bus station, around the corner from Eyre Square and a short walk from the tourist streets. This is a hostel not a hotel so buyer beware, college student noise to be expected. The room was adequate although the shower did spill out into the bathroom floor and there were no anti-slip pads in place. I did take advantage of the afternoon tea time to get away from my group and read a book."
