"We appreciated the renovated bathroom with space (big drawers) to store toilet bags etc and a reasonably sized room. We were able to conveniently park directly outside our room which was handy for unpacking and packing. Like all Motels in the town, the Azalea Motel is very close to the highway, and those trucks roll through the town 24 hrs a day! When viewing the pictures on hotels.com, be aware that no food is served any more, and the garden is nowhere near as well kept as shown (April 2026) - although I did enjoy spotting a few different birds enjoying the nectar from a large callistemon in the garden."

"Power points in room are about 1.5 meters above floor level making it impossible to have cords long enough to charge phone, ipad, watch or battery pack Staff did not know wifi code and another staff member wasnt sure of code for guests level 1 and the code he gave it to try didnt work"

"This was the most beautiful little cottage. It was so neat and clean, we felt so comfortable here and had everything we needed. So close to everything too. Next time we are in Coona, we would definitely love to stay here again! "
