"The hotel is great but when we were checking in, the reserved room was not available and I had to switch rooms. I specifically wanted to have the room with the view as I was staying only for one night in Shanghai. The staff was very nice trying to offer an upgraded room but without a view. However, it was a bit disappointing. I ended up paying more for another room with he river view and asked for two additional beds to put my kids to sleep as it was a just a King size bed room. First they said...

"Very well located in a very quiet street by the river Suzhou Creek. 5min away from Nanjing Road and People's Square. 20 min walk to the Bund. Staff very courteous and friendly. Very good communication via Whatsapp. Heads up to Vivien and Ken. Ken picked us up from the airport and at the end of our stay dropped us at the train station. We had good conversations with Ken and got good tips to get around. The building has a small convenience store at the ground level well supplied. Highly recommend...

"5th visit here. Centre of town, by people’s sq and a 1.5 mile walk straight down pedestrian road to the bund. Tube which is really easy and cheap ($0.4 a ride) is here heading to both airports and many other destinations. Room was superb with supper comfortable bathroom and picture window overlook the city. Great"

"Hotel is good..Rooms are clean, some may find the bed location is a little strange...but it's actually pretty comfortable & decent. In a good location too, if you dont mind walking around 15 minutes to the nearest metro...About 30 minutes walk to the famous Wangfujing shopping street. For the price.. well worth it."
