"Not enough space to write how terrible of an experience was had… they did an incredible job making the photos look appealing enough to book for a quick one night stay, don’t do it trust me it’s terrifying!"

"The hotel is a bargain for the super low price. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent. The morning guy at the desk was really nice. It's a deal. Just make sure that you have transportation. This is crucial at this time of night. This hotel offers a shuttle but it took a little coaxing for them to come get us, as our flight didn't land until after 11pm. They did end up picking us up after some discussion."

"liked the location disliked the continental breakfast"

"This small motel was very clean and the gentleman at the office was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay and was very comfortable. My room showed a few signs of wear and tear (mismatched towels, a couple with holes in them; several areas where the bathroom walls were very scraped up), but these did not affect the quality of my stay. One concern I had was that there was only a deadbolt lock on the door, no secondary lock such as a chain lock."

"The room we stayed in had black mold in the bathroom."

"Beautiful clean facilities. Very friendly staff."

"This hotel is beautiful, well maintained, right downtown, great restaurant on property. The room was large, clean, bed was comfy. The front desk staff was welcoming and helped me with printing cruise documents. Highly recommend."

"Weird layout of the building . Had to walk through multiple doors to get to our room. You have to pay for breakfast. Which we didn’t get to eat because the restaurant was closed due to staff shortage. And there’s not other food options in the area."

"Clean, quiet, and comfortable room. Plenty of parking. Restaurant was nice. Server was awesome!!! Food was top notch with huge portions! Great drinks from the bar! Loved it overall 😊!"

"Very quite and comfy"

"It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin. The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left...

"Clean, fun and the Lake was amazing!"

"Great spot for a large group, we will be back!"

"This property is a SCAM!!! Do not get sucked into reservations, nobody is there in the falling down wreck"
