Loved our stay!

We loved the resort, the listing was just as described. The employees were super helpful and nice. The elevator that brings you to the apartment is very close to where you park and everything was easy and close access, everything (Walmart etc) was super close to the place.

Amazing Stay!

We loved everything about this place! The location, the condo, the view, the beach services, and the awesome little tiki bar by the pool/beach. It was all fantastic and we will definitely be back again! We have been to Destin many times and this has been our favorite place to stay so far.

Awesome stay !

This was an amazing condo. 100% views of the beach from all rooms. Fantastic full length windows. Perfect floor plan. Beautifully decorated. Private elevator to the unit ! A beautiful stay- and highly recommended!

Place was nice and easy to access. Arrived and found broken lounge chair on balcony. Called and someone came to look at it quickly but then never fixed it. Should have at least 2 working lounge chairs on balcony. Hot water did not work in one of the bathrooms and mattresses could have been better quality for the price paid for the room. Beach and pool were wonderful

Destin Silver Shells Resort

Very nice property on the beach and within walking distance of several restaurants. Super busy area with limited parking on Fri and Sat nights. Semi Private elevator. The condo was as expected and nicely decorated. Some wear and tear on the carpeting and rugs; to be expected. A vacuum cleaner was available but could have really used a broom and more kitchen towels. On the day of arrival, the property management office called for an ETA and told us where to go for the arrival packet and then on to the guard shack. After hours check-in was a bit overwhelming especially after dark in a crowded environment and a 12 hour drive. Underground parking for one vehicle and all unloading was from the garage level to the elevator. We had trouble finding the correct elevator and then one of the two key fobs didn’t work. I highly recommend that future guests check out all the logistics before you enter the property. Our problem was that we couldn’t access the by arrival portion of the hospitality portal and details were difficult to locate in the several pages of documents provided at the after hours box that night. Fortunately someone was on property to help with the key fob which is needed to access the property at several points. We finally settled in but encountered other families having similar issues. Granted it was a very busy weekend and crowded as a there are four condo buildings at this resort. .Things settled down during the week and we really enjoyed the condo, balcony, pool, hot tub and beach. For Destin in general, Post-covid prices are high, most shops and restaurants are short handed and lines are long at most places. After a day or so we had a strategy when leaving the condo and all worked out.

Amazing views to a perfect beach

Crystal clear water views from this beach-front property. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony for all of our meals while also maximizing on time in the pool and the beach.

Great condo - highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay at St. Maarten 606 for spring break. The check in process was smooth, and the condo was spotless and updated. Loved that there were two spacious king bedrooms both with ocean views. 3rd bedroom was small and faced parking lot, but worked for us. We also got great, responsive service from Compass, the property management company, when we had an issue with our TV. They had a technician there within the hour who resolved the issue quickly. Would definitely book this property again!

A Perfect Girls Weekend Getaway!

My girlfriends and I truly enjoyed our stay at Silver Shells for our weekend. The location couldn't have been more perfect, we literally walked out of the building and on to the private beach. The condo was clean, beautiful decorated, and spacious, and the views were amazing. I did have a little trouble getting a hold of the actual property to see about holding our luggage (every phone number I tried routed through Compass Resorts instead of the actual building), and we were rather discouraged that there was not an option for recycling in the building. We checked in late and had a very difficult time finding WHERE to check in...spent a lot in extra Uber time/$ circling the property - there was not very good signage on the building or directions. Otherwise, our stay was great, we would DEFINITELY stay again!!

BEAUTIFUL condo with FABULOUS view of ocean! Wonderful family vacation at Silver Shells!

There are so many great things to share. Compass Resorts was easy to work with; staff were so kind, helpful & professional. We were so impressed they called us to let us know our condo was ready EARLY! We felt spoiled with assigned covered parking & semi-private elevators. Elevators open to condo foyer, perfect space for beach items. Double doors close so you don’t hear elevator bells, especially at night. They opened to the grand, spacious beachfront condo. The view of beach & ocean from spacious, covered deck was INCREDIBLE! 6th floor was high enough to see ocean with no obstructions; it was very private. We spent a lot of time on deck when we’re weren’t at beach. We soaked in the quiet serenity of white sandy beaches and ocean waves every morning and evening - captured many beautiful panoramic pics of sunrises, sunsets, hours in between. Condo was tastefully decorated & furnished; we were thrilled decor wasn’t overly beachy - no yellow walls with palm trees and seashells everywhere (no offense; that’s just not our style). There was just enough beach decor to remind us where we were; seashell-shaped towels upon arrival added nice touch. Living & dining rooms easily seated more than 5 people in our group & were comfortable. Living room had queen sleeper sofa; we used it a lot. Bar stools were nice too & are higher quality than they appear in pictures (husband almost didn’t rent condo because of them; that would’ve been a huge, regretful mistake - LOL). Master & one other bedroom have fantastic views of ocean, both access deck - not too many condos have that- and private bathrooms. Master king and other beds & pillows were all comfy; slept soundly. Spacious Master bathroom was beautifully designed with walk in shower, jetted tub, semi-private toilet, new cabinets - it’s spa like! All countertops in bathrooms & kitchen were of quality, pretty granite. There were large HD TVs in living room & bedrooms, not that we used them much. Kitchen was well stocked. Used exercise room & pool some - nice options. I don’t want to deter anyone but in being honest, only minor issue we had was we ran out of hot water. Called maintenance; they were very responsive & reset water heater. It was due to washer so we washed with cold water instead. I simply can’t say enough great things about this condo. It was PERFECT! I would definitely recommend St Maarten #606 & Silver Shells. We were sad to leave as we had a DREAM family vacation and wish we could live there!!

606 St Maartin at Silver Shells Resort

Loved this condo unit. It had everything we needed. We loved being able to literally walk outside and walk maybe 500 feet and be on the beach. The pool was awesome too, allowing our kids to meet up with other kids their age and play together. I can’t say enough great things about the unit we rented. It was beautiful. We had 5 kids and 4 adults, worked perfect. Would most def stay in this unit again!!! 5 STARS for sure!!!

Great beach condo with terrific view!

Beautiful condo! Loved the location. Watched amazing sunrise from balcony each morning. The condo was furnished very nice. However, not enough lights for reading books. Also could have used some instructions for tv and microwave.

Beautifully decorated with a gorgeous beach steps away!

This property is beautiful. Nice updates throughout the condo and newer furnishings than what the pictures online show when booking. You have a semi-private elevator that opens directly into the condo. The beach is gorgeous with white powdery sand and the clearest water. We went out in the ocean at least 100 yards and the water was so clear, you could see all the small fish swimming around. The pool is nice but a bit chilly in October since it's not heated. I highly recommend this property and will not hestitate to book again if visiting Destin or the surrounding areas.

Great condo with all the amenities!

This condo is in a great location on a secured property. The pool on the property is huge and never had an issue getting chairs. You do need to rent chairs on the beach if you don't bring your own (if you fly in like we did, hit one of the stores and buy your own to save money, chairs rent for $50/day - 2 chairs and an umbrella). You cannot use your own umbrella either due to liability so those rent for $25/day. Had one issue in the condo and put in maintenance request and it was fixed very quickly. Beds were comfortable and of course not to everyone's liking but in great shape. Plenty of room for the 6 of us to move around without being on top of each other. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Best place we stayed

Everything was easy. From check in to check out, the process was fast and easy. The grounds are beautiful and very secure. The condo was clean, very well stocked and exceeded the pictures and description. We used the pool often and the beach was easy to get off and on even with all our stuff. The semi-private elevator made everything super convenient. They are still building a new condo right next door but there was now inconvenience to us. We cooked a few meals in the condo and had everything we needed to cook. We took a drive to the Naval Air Museum and light house, well worth the trip and the museum was free. The light house was $6 a person. We drove to Panama City for a swim with the dolphins experience at water planet. And we did horseback riding at Arnett's. We had done both last time we were in Destin and went to the same places. We had dinner at a few local places. The backporch is within shouting distance to the condo. We ate at "Dat Cajun Place" after the dolphin experience as recommended by our boat guide. Both had great service, good food and good prices. We had 4 children from 9 to 17. Everyone had there own space. A few minor issues that we didn't even call for, we let them know at check out such as lightbulbs needed replacement, and a ceiling fan out of balance. The water had a lot of June grass and was not the usual clear water and we had to leave early due to the pending storm and long ride home to New Jersey. We had stayed at another condo prior and would return to this condo instead. Even other families we spoke to said the same.

St. Marteen 606

We had an amazing time staying here. The place is absolutely gorgeous and this place has one of the best views in the entire resort. It has everything you need for cooking meals at home and also includes board games/puzzles for rainy days. Silver Shores is located right near a number of restaurants and attractions for the kids. We would definitely stay here again.
