High-end Villa Lyra close to Desimi beach with heated pool

"The villa itself is beautiful, spacious and in a lovely location, and overall we enjoyed many aspects of our stay. However, there is one major issue that significantly affected our experience and, in our opinion, needs to be addressed — the water system. We were a group of 9 guests, and the water pressure in the showers was quite weak. More importantly, there was simply not enough hot water for a villa that is supposed to accommodate a large number of guests. After spending a long day exploring the island, you expect to come back to the villa and be able to take a comfortable shower. Instead, we had to plan our showers one after another, wait for the water to heat up again, and on our last evening there was almost no hot water from the beginning. This was very frustrating and unfortunately had a real impact on our overall experience. A villa designed for a large group should have a hot-water system capable of serving that number of guests without everyone having to coordinate shower times or wait between showers. In its current condition, we don't feel the villa can comfortably meet the needs of a larger group in this respect. On the other hand, we want to give a very special mention to Petra. She was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. Every time we contacted her with a question or a problem, she responded immediately, tried to help and did everything she could to find a solution. She was friendly, caring and extremely helpful from beginning to end. In fact, Petra and the way she looked after us are the main reason we don't want to leave an entirely negative review. Our criticism is not directed at her at all — quite the opposite. She did everything within her power to make our stay better. The villa has a lot of potential, but the water pressure and especially the hot-water capacity really need to be improved. Fixing this issue would make a significant difference to the experience, particularly for larger groups."

"We stayed in Crystal villa and were impressed with how brand new and ultra modern everything was. The owners left fruit and drinks for our arrival and plenty of towels. Excellent WiFi, air con and TV channels. BBQ was great and huge balcony off the bedrooms. On the downside; Pool was small and driveway steep."

"The villa was beautiful. The rooms and outdoor areas had incredible views, the pool was perfect, it was easy to find and in a little village with a couple of lovely tavernas (we liked them both, but Xaris probably just a little more). We had a perfect stay and didn't want to leave. Morten and Vivi sent us really clear and helpful instructions and advice and were super responsive when we had questions. The road to get to the villa was quite narrow but we never had any issues and it's a small price to pay to be perched on a hillside and have such a gorgeous view over the sea, mountains and islands."

"Beautiful villa which was much larger and even more impressive than seen in the photos. We stayed as a family of 5 and there was plenty of room. The villa was very clean and well-equipped with everything you may need. Beds were very comfortable.The view was simply stunning looking out over Ithaca and the islands beyond. Fantastic location near to a supermarket and pizza take away. Beach was easily accessible. Lots of restaurants in Nidri. One small point was that we were unsure where to place additional rubbish and would have benefited from instructions.We had a fabulous time and would recommend a stay in this stunning villa."

"Family group of 15 - 7 kids and 8 adults, just back from the most amazing holiday in Lefkada staying at this villa.It was perfect - apartments split between 3 levels accommodating us all perfectly, outside kitchen where we enjoyed most of our dinners (also lovely tavernas a short walk away) and a fantastic pool, big enough for us all to enjoy at same time! Host very attentive to ensure we had a wonderful holiday - thank you"
