"The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot. There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this. Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good. A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks."

"The room was great for an overnight stay. The only negative was the sounds (TV) / talking / laughing from linked room(s). Things settled after midnight but we had a very early start so didn't get much sleep."

"Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. "Staff were nice, room was ok, mattress was somewhat soft. Bathroom ok, quite large but walk in shower a bit small, with rubber seal starting to detach itself. Sink was a little small, and the bathroon window had some mould. Location is very good, a short walk to the town centre and sea front, but parking a bit of a pain, not a lot available"

"Can’t fault anything Lynn and Steve were perfect hosts very friendly, breakfast was great. Everything was spotless, great place to stay Very close to beach and restaurants and bus routes"
