"Very conveniently located as is only a short walk to the central medieval area. We (mother + teenage son) stayed in a deluxe apartment which was spacious. Kitchenette facilities also appreciated as we ate in one evening. Staff helpful and friendly. Check-in is strictly after 3pm but it was handy to be able to use free lockers on site to leave luggage so we could go off and explore after our morning arrival into Ghent. Would recommend. "

"Cool hotel, about 25 mins walk from Central Ghent. The pool was warm and well received and beds were comfy. Parking nearby was reasonable. Unfortunately our shower was blocked, and our room flooded, so we had to move to a slightly smaller room. "

"Location was amazing and in the core area of Ghent. Appreciate the coffee and water in the lobby! Easy checkin and checkout process. Staff were kind and welcoming! Room was clean and efficiently spacious. "

"The advertised air conditioning is 'a closed circuit consisting of multiple rooms' which the staff advised us could not be used to cool the room until the weather became warmer. I visited in April when the weather had just turned warm, the sun shone on the window all day so the room became hot. Opening the one window did not cool the room down quickly so we had to sleep with it open. The temperature of the room made it difficult to fall asleep. Then on the second night smoke and the smell of marijuana came in through the open window which made it even more unpleasant. The bathroom was also mouldy."

"We had a lovely stay in Gent at the CASTLENOU apartment/hoIel.I would suggest having complimentary coffee snd tea available for guests. There are both in the rooms, however a limited selection. Breakfast had an extensive selection of a variety of breakfast foods for fifferent cultures. We had a suite which was roomy. "

"Room was very new and clean, breakfast was excellent and light snacks were served until 10pm (plus pizza and pasta options). Staff were all very friendly and helpful. "
