"Convenient stopover for our bike trek with five of us. Unique and a little tired decor at this former motel but the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful and we were able to securely store our bikes inside. Nice breakfast. "

"Wir waren drei Pärchen und waren von dem Ferienhaus sehr angetan. Die Ausstattung war vom Spielzeug für die (in unserem Fall nicht vorhandenen) Kinder, bis zu den Küchengeräten durchdacht und lies keine Wünsche offen. Alles wirkt sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten grenzt an ein kleines Gewässer auf dem sich Enten tummeln. Wir haben auch die Ruhe der Anlage sehr genossen. Die Schlafzimmer sind ausreichend groß, eins davon eher ein Kinderzimmer. Das Bad ist sauber, man hat genug Platz.Wir waren mit unserer Unterkunft sehr zufrieden und haben keine größeren Kritikpunkte. "

"Nice quiet location in Den Helder, 10 minute walk from the train station and within walking distance of town centre/shops. Hotel room was clean, modern, bright. Narrow staircase to get to top room, not ideal if you have a lot of bags. "

"We stayed at Hotel Op Diek for a weekend girls’ trip, and it was the perfect choice! The location in Den Hoorn is peaceful yet close enough to explore Texel easily by car. The hotel itself has such a cozy and welcoming vibe — you can feel it’s a former farmhouse with a lot of charm. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was a highlight — fresh, local, and with plenty of choice to start the day right. It was the perfect base for exploring Texel and also for just unwinding together after a fun day out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and relaxing stay on Texel. Would definitely come back! 🌸✨ "
