Gritty, dull and somewhat a messy town. The surrounding range and basin landscapes make the bleh town tolerable.

Deming is a great small city with very friendly people, great restaurants, my group of 15 rockhounds that came with me, had breakfast daily at the Denny`s, Si Senor is a good Mexican Restaurant & Marie`s Italian is great too.
