The highlight for me was all the handmade counters, beds, and art around the house. Excellent wood, metal and concrete work. Great spot for hitting Mt Baker for recreation and getting into the hot tub as quickly as possible. Host was responsive when VRBO didn't get check-in message to me. (What are we paying you guys for anyway?). No problem, Leb got them to me plenty of time before I got to the door.Place was quiet, clean, and has clear instructions for use of heat, septic, etc. Will stay again, for sure!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. This was a perfect get away for our family. The home was beautiful, maintained well, & kitchen had everything we needed and more. The hosts were great and very quick to respond and help with any questions we had. We would definitely stay again.
Loved the location so near to the park and hiking. Glacier is a great little town with a friendly vibe. House was comfortable and had everything we needed.

We had a great weekend, the property was as described, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, close to beautiful trails. The house itself is a beautiful place to hang out. Thank you!
Beautiful cabin and great location for a relaxing weekend. Could have stayed on the balcony for hours taking in all the nature sounds and looking up at the giant trees. Would definitely recommend!
This property is a hidden little gem in the small Glacier, WA community. 8 of us stayed for 2 nights while skiing Baker (an easy 20-30 minute drive from the house). The home is large, spacious and private. The kitchen was the best stocked rental I have ever seen. The home provides the seclusion needed to really disconnect for a few days. Our group really loved the place!
This is a beautiful property with all the amenities that you need to have a comfortable stay. So much to see and do in the area wish we could have stayed longer.
The grounds here are stunning and is truly a special place. If you wanted to do nothing other than sit back, read a book, play some board games with the family and enjoy nature, then this is the spot for you too.
Hope to be back again one day soon.
We enjoyed our stay. The property brought back memories of our home we lived in 36 years ago. I recommend it to anyone who likes a forested setting close to a mountain and river. Thank you to the owners for providing a nice place to stay.
We really enjoyed staying at this property. It is in a very quiet and mostly secluded location in the forest, which is what we were looking for....peace and quiet. It is somewhat far from big time amenities so I would recommend bringing some food and other necessities. One thing I want to mention is that there is not a curtain, shade, or blind in the entire house.....which has a lot of windows. We would stay again.
We wanted to have some quite family time and be together for thanksgiving. This cabin was amazing! The rooms were beautiful and serene. The kitchen had all you need to cook a thanksgiving meal. Games and TV plus a dvd player. All in all do not hesitate to book this cabin. Loved every minute of it!
We absolutely loved our stay here. What a gorgeous property! It’s so peaceful and relaxing and the house is spotless. Tons of skylights, and natural light throughout and huge trees and plants everywhere in the yard. The kitchen is wonderful and I love the huge island for games/conversation. This house has everything you need. Communication with owner was seamless and genuine. We would love to stay here again!!
The property really is beautiful, with stunningly large trees all around. The house is nice and just like the photos show it. I did recommend to the property manager that he find a way to raise the beds height and replace the kitchen stools with backed, adjustable height cushioned stools. With those changes, the property would be perfect (for us anyway). It’s a great location; we hiked, snowshoed and skied/snowboarded during our stay. Make a stop at the waterfall (can’t remember the name). It’s only a block hike off the parking area and well worth the stop while headed to or from the mountain.
We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin. The beds are actually comfortable! It was so nice to stay at a nice cabin that has comfy beds that actually match the price. A+!
The property itself is lovely, with a beautiful open space in front of the home, fire pit for when there isn't a fire ban, and close access to all the beautiful nature the area has to offer.
Things to note: The area is remote, so while there is wifi, it is INCREDIBLY slow (4-5 mbps). It's enough for streaming one thing at a time, but not great for trying to get work done. Also, you're in the country, so it's pretty impossible to keep mice out. Just make sure your food is put away when you leave and you'll be just fine.
We will definitely be back to this cabin and plan to bring friends next! Adding a hot tub would be the icing on the cake... :)
[oct24] This place looks just like the pictures. Let's talk about the grounds-GORGEOUS! Like a visitor center it's so beautiful. We didn't get to use the firepit (too wet/cold) and I was so bummed. We bought Jakes wood to burn in the stove instead. Had everything we needed (except a cooler-we left a new one behind for future guests!) for making meals, doing laundry and seating outside for chilling-quite literally but I love being outdoors! It's a clean place and has all the gadgets needed. The owners alerted us that power may go out (didn't yay!), but easy communications.
The town was fine and we had a pizza/salad one night at Chair9 and that was okay/good, had Joe's Fine coffee and that was most excellent! They make some of their sauces/syrups and you can tell the difference-super nice place they got there with really nice people. We used their library and that had some good picks in their sale area. We shopped at Nugent's corner mostly, but got most stuff in Bellingham upon arrival. We also ate at Lorenzo's and that was pretty good too and had a yummy margarita.
We drove all over including Mt Baker, and Silver Springs park/campground-very cool place, and Seattle, Friday Harbor, Whidbey Island and all around the neighboring cities of Maple Falls.
It's a really great place to stay, lots of quiet space, neighbors were basically non-existent, and the landscape all around was just beautiful with gorgeous trees.
You will not be disappointed in this place - it is great!
