"This was misleading advertising on Hotels.com. I selected a tent with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed for about R1700. Just before we arrived I got a call from the hosts and let them know that 2 friends would arrive 30 minutes before us. I was told that I would have to pay an additional R790 for them because they charge extra each person over 2. This was not made clear on the app. This accommodation was not worth over R2,500 for the night. Unhappy guests who feel ripped off."

"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. "We loved our stay at this property. The views were amazing and the room was beautiful. We had dinner at the restaurant both night we were there and the food was fantastic. The welcome drink was delicious. If it had been on the menu we would have had several. The only complaint I have would be the fact that there was no help with the luggage when we checked out and the woman at reception would not allow me to leave the car out front for a couple of minutes so I could help my daughter with the luggage. The service at the end was a real disappointment after such a great stay. For this reason I can’t give it 5 stars."
