"Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area."

"The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again."

"Lovely cottage but faults, hot tap bathroom basin not working seized up, cold ta p on bathroom basin very staff partially seized. had to get hot water from kichen in bowl. CD player only worked intermittently very bad crack in wall in hallway and bad crack ceiling to wall joint double bedroom, drive and garden gravel need long term weed treatment."
