"My mom, grandmother and I spent 4 days at the Room Mate Aitana during our first trip to Amsterdam and we absolutely loved it. The location is a 5 min walk to Centraal Station which was perfect for getting to/from the airport and other cities, and was a 30-40 min walk towards many of the attractions we wanted to see - this was a perfect distance so we could enjoy the scenery on our way around. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and we loved the facilities - we spent the end of most of our days curled up at the couches by the bar/lounge. We opted to not do the included breakfast but did pay for it on our last morning and it was very complete/delicious. The fitness centre had everything we needed. Hotel staff were extremely friendly. The hotel is very focused on being environmentally friendly which I also appreciated. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I will stay here again when I come to Amsterdam in the future."

"Place is very nice and clean, staff is friendly. Only thing is that the shower sprayed all over the bathroom, leaving a puddle on the floor. Even towels would get drenched and very uncomfortable to walk in."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned each day, but they didn't seem to sweep/vacuum the floor. There was a restaurant downstairs, and a store for snacks, drinks, coffee, etc below too, which was a plus."

"Room was clean just a pity that we could not use the safe, we reported it but nothing was done to fix the problem the back was missing holding the 4 batteries in place so when you closed the safe the batteries fell out servies in the resturant was very slow,"
