"Very reasonably priced and comfortable place to stay. Only a few steps away from Fosse Dionne and convenient to town and the train station. From this home base, we visited Dijon by train and Auxerre and Chablis by taxi. The place has everything you need. Two bedrooms are up a narrow flight of stairs which may pose difficulties for elderly people and the toilet is located on the first floor only. Very nicely decorated. "

"The place was clean and felt very cosy. It was clearly newly refurbished and was clean. The beds were not too great though. In one of the bedrooms the wooden boards under the mattress were loose and had to put back in place. That is when it became clear they had better all be replaced. The sheets were made of synthetic fibers instead of cotton. And the place is above a fish shop. The owners have done all they can to repel the smell, but there is no escaping it when you enter. "Stayed for a one-night stop-over en route to the South of France, and could not have wished for a better hotel. Troyes is a charming little town with lots of bars and restaurants (only breakfast available in the hotel but it was a very short walk to the town centre. We booked a family room (two adults and two teenagers) but to our surprise we were given the "appartment" which was enormous and beautiful. There were two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge lounge and a small self-containted kitchen. We could have tayed a week, and it was almost a waste to have such a great space for just one night. I'd happily recommend it"

"Her name escapes me at the moment, because we stayed there three months ago, but I will never forget her face, and the amazing above-and-beyond service she provided us. I believe it was something like Michele or Celine. She is a mature lady with a beautiful face and dark hair. At first she told us that there was no room in the hotel garage because we hadn't preordered, then she told us to drive by again and she would open the door for us. She kept our keys so that people needing to get out could do so. I also thought I had requested a ground-floor room, but she said no problem to change, and walked us across the street to our lovely large room. She also lent us a corkpull. Her sweet sunny disposition will always keep her in our hoteliers hall of fame!"
