"This would have easily been a 5-star review but for the inaccuracy of the property location listing. This property is located on Elephantine Island, not in Aswan proper as listed. If you’re packing with big roller bags, be aware of the walk to this guesthouse. It’s all dirt paths. That said, everything else was great. The place is clean, spacious and quiet. The host’s mom was as sweet and caring as could be. She cooked delicious breakfasts every morning and even volunteered to do some laundry...

"View was phenomenal. Staff is exceptional. Good place for a couple of nights stay. Best to arrange transport with the hotel as the maps can not accurately portray the geography of the location. Beautiful setting. Food options are a bit limited especially if you have special needs. Bed was comfortable. Shower so so. Walk to the beach, enjoy the view, different surroundings in the village and feel the quiet."
