"The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."
"Stayed in a suite for 2 nights. Everything was perfect and so convenient for everything. Train station opposite, along with plenty of taxis. Shopping was next to the hotel.
Wonderful breakfast was included in our rate, and everyone was so helpful in the restaurant. The check in was perfect and once again everyone was so helpful and friendly. Not far from the cruise port, a short taxi ride away. We are already planning another stay next year!"
"We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed."
"The hotels location is great wether you are arriving by ferry, train or car. It's located next to the main train station in Kiel and very close to the ferry terminals. You can park in Contipark Parkhaus CAP with direct access to the hotels second floor. The reception staff was very polite and helpfull.
The room was clean, spacious and had the amenities you need. Safe in the room. The bed was firm with comfortable bedding.
The price of the breakfast did not reflect the selection though, but the total price for our stay makes up for it."
"Very good and stylish hotel.
Amenities and TV and beds, all top notch! Parking on premises 25€ Breakfast could not be booked when reserving the room with Hotels.com. At the reception they wanted 54 euro for 2xbreakfast. However they gave us free parking as compensation, ok."
