"If you want to stay in a hotel with atmosphere and attractive old style ambience than this is your place. I especially liked the kitchen where you could fix your continental breakfast and eat at a round oak table and talk to the other guests. It is in the middle of everything so you can park your car and walk everywhere in Ouray. Fun stay even though the wildfires spread smoke in Ouray the air was breathable outside the hotel and inside. Don’t let a little smoke keep you away."

"The hotel was great. The room was clean and simple. The staff was helpful. (Skip the included/free breakfast at Mi Mexico. That was a joke. They're 100% inflexible on allowing an upgrade or change, and the food was really bad.)"
