The Gobi stretched on endlessly - not sand but flat flat flat. We had had some rain so there was a fine covering of grass on the plains. #Gobi #troveon

Incredible place as the Gobi desert, only explorable through a small group tour, in a small van from USSR. No cities, no roads, but still the driver manages to not get lost, finding his way to nomads camps to stay over at night. Incredible experience of nowhere !
