The Gobi stretched on endlessly - not sand but flat flat flat. We had had some rain so there was a fine covering of grass on the plains. #Gobi #troveon
Incredible place as the Gobi desert, only explorable through a small group tour, in a small van from USSR. No cities, no roads, but still the driver manages to not get lost, finding his way to nomads camps to stay over at night.
