"The apartment was adequate. Neefed some maintenance. Our apartment was at ground floor but our friends were up some very steep and narrow tread stairs which also turned at the top. This apartment is not for the faint hearted or unable to manage this type of access. "

"We were a bit confused initially when we arrived in an out of town shopping zone. The hotel facilities were excellent but I felt that the staff were keen for us to finish our lovely meal. We had arrived in the restaurant at 20.30 and had been reassured that we were welcome. Maybe I've misread things but I did get a vibe that staff would prefer if we finished sooner rather than later."

" The hotel is ideally situated for the centre of town with many good bars and restaurants. Free parking is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The standard room we had was clean and comfortable with all we needed, unless you're a tea freak. There was a pod coffee maker in the room. There is a Friday fruit and veg market worth a visit and interesting attractions within easy reach. An award winning bakery provides an excellent continental breakfast with tables outside on the Grand Square. We lived in France for 10 years but this was our first visit to Bethune and the Hotel Eden. It was a very enjoyable location in which to chill out and relax. We'll be back."
