"First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. "An absolutely stunning little gem of a place. It’s as if a room from a very high end, boutique city hotel has been plucked out of a building and carefully placed down in beautiful, peaceful countryside. The decor is stylish and genuinely calming. The hosts have thought of everything - literally everything! I kept finding extras I didn’t expect to. Can’t praise this place enough!"

"The rooms were a good size with living and kitchen room separate bedroom. The rooms could be very nice but was lacking on the clean side with dust and some maintenance needed. Wanted to make an hot drink on arrival but only one cup so had to go and buy some, there was no cloth to dry cups up after washing. Didn't use the dishes as they were dusty. There was a lack of shelving in the bathroom to put toiletries away. Contact with the owners was excellent."

"Set in a small village in the heart of Leicestershire countryside, lovingly converted stables to high end spec. Very dog friendly, all modern appliances, comfy bed, great shower t.v.`s Wi-Fi etc. Lovely welcome basket for humans as well as dogs. Owners Nat & Dan very attentive and helpful nothing too much trouble. Would definitely return, Highly recommended."
