"Self check-in facility that was far from secure or well maintained. The main door lock was missing on the inside, the stairs carpet had suspicious stains at the bottom of the stairs. The heater was not working and nothing was done to rectify the situation so I had to sleep wearing a sweater & a scarf and there was no hot water other than in the shower, no kettle nor glass & cup for tea/coffee. There was a load of mold all around the window that caused me a lot of disagreement amongst which is a...

"Wonderful staff, great breakfast. Loved the room!"

"Returned to the Invernaire after a 42 year absence. Plenty remained the same as I remember it in nothing but a good way and also several updates like the en suite washroom especially. Last time it was one shower for the entire upper floor. The view from my cozy little room- Ben Wy was spectacular as was the one from the dining room. Carol was especially helpful from the time I checked in until I left. Breakfast were A-1. Best tea I’ve ever tried and was reunited with black pudding. Miss that...

"The self check in was great. That was about all that was. I do realize it is a hostel but I have stayed in plenty and this by far has been the worst. We had a room on the back side that would have had a nice area to sit and relax but there were only two tables with about 6 chairs that had to be shared with 4 rooms. The bed felt like I was laying on straw bales and the paperwork I printed that had my...

"Friendly and welcoming"

"Really nice stay at Park Hill in Inverness. The place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The lady who let us in was really friendly and welcoming, which was a nice touch after travelling. Overall, a great place to stay and we’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Inverness!"
