"I was given a ground floor room. When I checked the room there was no safety bar in the window. The area outside was very hidden and easy for someone to access the room with no safety bar. There was no heat. I froze all night. The smoke alarm was hanging from the wall. The ceiling light fixture in the bathroom didn't have a cover over the shower and there were exposed electrical wires. I cancelled my next two nights and am asking for my complete prepayment of $345.78 be credited back to my Credit Card. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here! It had a lot of rooms to house our large family vacation, which is hard to find for this price. The upstairs has a number of very creaky spots so light sleepers should keep that in mind if you've got a group that isn't all on the same schedule. There are some small details in need of repair/attention (have to work to close front door, paint coming off of handrail), but the host is so accommodating and communicative (without fail answered within 10 minutes, handled any problems we decided to bring up to her) that the experience was very nice."
