"My wife and I had a lovely time at Majira's apartment. She and her granddaughter gave us a lovely welcome and offered us drinks, cakes and biscuits. The apartment itself was well-equipped and perfect for two people. It was a short walk to the beach and the town, where there are a number of cafes and restaurants. if I had to point out any negatives they would be : Wifi is not very good. Aircon is only in the living room/kitchen so you have to leave it on and have at the door to bedroom open....

"Staro Selo (Old Village) is a very special place for me because my mother grew up in this small mountain village. Even without the family connection this was a wonderful stay. I can not say enough about Tea who was phenomenal at hosting and going over and above, taking much time to research and answer the many questions I had about the village.. "We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage is set up with lovely details and equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable. In close driving proximity you find beautiful natural parks for walks, costal aresa and good cities. The owners are extremely nice and warm people who care about everything that makes your stay perfect, they even offered their help to fix the flat tire of our car. We will defenitely come back. "Sehr sauberes, Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit sehr schönem Garten und perfekter Terrasse, unser Wohlfühlplatz. Ausgestattet mit fast allem was man braucht (Waschmaschine und Wetzstein wäre noch gut). Das Bad könnte ab 4 Personen etwas klein sein. Sehr Nette Vermieter, sehr schnelle Unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Sehr ruhige Lage. Kleiner, nicht von Touristen überfluteter Ort. Gute Restaurants in der Umgebung. Strandnähe. Alle schönen Strände sind in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen."

"Hotel was lovely, excellent facilities and very helpful and friendly staff. The pool was also great but very busy and not enough sun beds to accommodate the demand, however their deck chairs on the rocks and the sunbeds beside the harbour also provided great options. It's in quite a hilly location so need to accept a bit of an uphill walk back or wait for the buggies. Breakfast was very good also. Would definitely recommend."

"Overall, I would say it’s a very good resort (particularly the epic Maro World kids club/centre!), let down by poor rooms and unfriendly/unhelpful staff. My recommendation, go to the resort but stay in one of the other Valamar hotels like Tirena. To break it down more: Rooms – Most of the rooms are old and tired. They are never worth the money that they charge. We had two classic rooms but in one the air-con wasn’t working properly. We got moved on day 2 and there was a terrible smell in the bathroom. So on day 4 we got moved to the newly decorated v-level rooms with a full sea view. These are nice but they have just put a bit of lipstick over the old rooms. Resort – You can use both he Lacroma and Tirena pools and the President Beach. The Tirena pool is brilliant for families, with the exception of it being a bit too deep. You get two big slides and a baby one. We didn’t really like the beach as it was really crowded. Where things get epic is Maro World. I cannot explain how good this is but I doubt there’s a better kids centre and kids club in Europe. Food – The food was ok. I found it to be uncreative with only very small changes each night that make it feel almost like the same thing. The desserts are also pretty poor. But generally the quality of the mains is good. For breakfast the real shocking thing is how poor the juices are (they are diluting juice and not real juice). And the selection of cereal is really poor, which is stupid as cereal is so cheap."

"Nice room Great breakfast, staff always ready to help , Air conditioner. 5 mins walk to old town. We enjoyed our stay very much . Veronica the receptionist provided me with her own phone charger since I forgot mine . She gave us a link where to get the best deal for a boat trip . We need it to do our laundry and we found this beautiful laundry mat 5 mins walk called Pralo laundry . Nice clean . The staff all spoke English that made it easy to communicate. The whole experience was great."

"Superb hotel and very well located ! Download the "moj Zet" bus app (which is easy and works very well), When you arrive at the airport, walk through the car park to the bus stop on the other side of the road, a bit to the left (there are two) and catch the 290 bus €0.53!) Get off at Veterinarski f. (which is one or two stops from the last one) and the hotel is a simple 10-15 min walk. Couldn't be easier. Inside it is cosy and welcoming. There is a bar / restaurant where the food is excellent - breakfast is well worth it ! Their beer tastes like its from a real brewery - not mass produced commercial stuff and was very good. The room was clean and tidy with a nice bathroom. The staff were local, polite and enthusiastic. All in all a very pleasant stay."
